Well said. I've been simply trying to present my views and leave it at that, but if they wish to play, I won't back down. Why some people who don't have faith are eager to destroy the faith of those who do, I will never understand. Yes, we do have plenty of intellectuals in our arsenal and all I was saying was a simple truism.. in any debate between theism and non- theism, some of the non- theists will trot out the " we're smart and you're dumb" card. I said I didn't want to take anybody out of their comfort zone. That was a courtesy that apparently certain people are incapable of returning. I think this might be my last post on this thread and that to a fellow believer: we believe what we believe. We won't back down to a concerted effort of those more intolerant to take our faith away from us ( I am certainly not accusing Loki or Longbowman of doing this, but there are others) and if our backs are to the wall, we'll respond. I said at the very beginning that these kinds of talks tend to degenerate into pointless ego stroking, perhaps on both sides. The last post I made to an unbeliever was that I didn't give a fuck what he said about my faith or that of the vast majority of humanity that does accept a personal conception of God. That was the last post I intend to make to him on this matter. I'm better off on those Anglo- Hispanic relations threads. Let those here believe what they will and we shall do the same.

There are still debates (in particular because of one verse) whether it is the eternal torment or eternal annihilation so there is no need to write in a way as if you are definitely sure what it is.

WTF is there to express intellectually ? A logical fallacy is a technical error in the structure of a proposition with a latin name that renders it invalid. All I had to do was name it by its latin name but copying and pasting is not much different. WTF ?
