I'm currently dual booting Windows 7 and Slacko Puppy Linux all on one machine.
Linux definitely doesn't crash as often and is much more reliable, needs no anti-virus software, and has the capability for more DIY tasks.
You can install it with this Windows .exe file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ux...inux_5.7.0.exe and you can uninstall it anytime.
This is the Lucid version of Puppy which is compatible with Ubuntu stuff: http://www.mediafire.com/download/58..._Linux_528.exe
