Good question, as I have said before makes more sense to me a Georgian section in here than certain other countries.

Svaneti is known not only for beautiful mountains, but also for towers erected mainly in the 9th-12th centuries. In the province are dozens of Georgian orthodox churches and fortified buildings. Architectural monuments of Upper Svanetia are included in a list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Ushguli is the highest village on European continent at an altitude of 2 100 m above the sea level the village have towers built in 12th century.

and before 1990 the same holy cows were walking with dignity on polish roads in villages, really
so if I go to Georgia I will be able to turn back time![]()

Svan culture survives most wonderfully in its songs and dances. Svanetia boasts arguably the most archaic three-part polyphonic singing. Most of their songs are connected to round dances, are performed very loud and are full of dissonant chords
