Second thing : there were many beautiful native french women in the 12 finalists. The best one of the 12 was Miss Normandy to me because she's classy, intelligent, well speaking, charismatic, beautiful and represents France very well.

Of the misses of foreign descent only Zeynep Sever didn't deserve to win, in my opinion, because while she might be a good person, she's more Turkish than Belgian both in her ehtnic background as also in how she identifies. Should've competed in Turkey instead.

That's not working that way.
The 12 finalists were chosen by jury, the 3 winners are chosen among them by public vote on showtime. You send sms to vote and pay for your favorite one. That's french people selection hahaha. So exotic taste.

Well generally speaking famous black women are always light skinned, which leads to some self-image issues amongst women with darker skin.

There is even a whole market for skin lightening products which are very dangerous.

Just look at Rihanna and Beyoncé. They are black but very light skinned.
