While I generally do not like kebab people, I do indeed love kebab foods.
Have you ever tried it? Are there a lot of it in your country?
I remember in Romania there was this place Dristor Kebap that made bomb ass Shawarmas!
Here in Oslo sadly there are a lot of Kebab shops, but it's hard to find good places, most kebab places sell just generic bad tasting kebabs and are owned by Pakis or Tamils with no idea of what they're doing.
I know (thus far) two places where they really have bomb ass kebabs.
This is the generic, not so good kebab you get everywhere (the meat us usually just beef/ lamb put in a meat grinder) ;
This is the bomb as stuff, I found this pic on the facebook page of a place I love to go to, so it's on a plate but you can get it in pita bread etc. obviously
The main differences is in the meat and sauce. It seems like all the crappy kebab shops get their meat, bread and sauces from the same places. It has the same horrible taste, while the good ones are "home-made" basically. It seems that the three good kebab shops are mostly owned/ employed by Turks and Balkanites.
If you live in Oslo and you know of some bomb-ass kebab places, feel free to share through PM, rep comment or publicly if you want (talking mainly to you Albanians, it seems you all live here, lol).

In Brazil it is so different:
In Brazil will call kebab of "greek barbecue", despite the greek kebab is called "Gyros", differ from kebab because use of pork meat and a particular sauce.

When you see that, you know that's the good shit fam.
Most shitty "kebab" shops here have a weird looking goo of grinded lamb/ cow meat mixed in a bucket, they throw it on a grill and just chop it up and use it. That's why the meat in my first pic is so blocky. It's just goo, grilled to make it "meat like". I'm sure Arabs/ Egyptians would make great Kebabs, but most kebab shop owners here are just pakis/ tamils just wanting a easy profit.

In Uruguay we have just a few restaurants with true arab/middle eastern food.
I tried their food when I traveled to Europe, it was yummy.
