Lol, no no. Ottomans upheld and funded the worlds foremost university for orthodox priests. They built lots and lots of orthodox churches and the helped to destroy their enemies which was us catholics and bogomils (todays Torbeshi and Pomaks of Bulgaria, all muslim now btw).
Ottomania was an orthodox/muslim brotherhood untill the early 19th century. Just sit down and think how many of their subjects were orthodox christian. In the Balkans they were an absolute majority for 500 years, but even in syria, lebanon, iraq and egypt survived minority comunes of orthodox people which if the turks wanted they could have crushed like the did with us catholics of albania.

Ok dude, simply thinking that if the situation is common in many other countries it must be the case everywhere else to. Let me inform you here.
Unlike our neighbours, our communist government did not accept the formation of slums of any kind. We were the only people to integrate the gypsies into our own neighbourhoods. THERE ARE NO GYPSIE SLUMS IN ALBANIA. Our gypsies are cultured and very sociable people compared to the gypsies in our neighbouring countries.
Dont just assume things, look it up.
