People are of firm belief that we populated Balkans in 7th century and that we came from "somewhere".
I tend to disagree with that belief.
Your Irish influence is probably related to Celtic influence, but bear in mind Britain and Western Europe had entire population replaced duo 5th century Barbarian Invasions.
Our ancestry is yet to be uncovered one day (our ancestry is under serious manipulation by those in power) there is something about our ancestry that doesn't suits the interests of many.
Jovan Deretić might be an old man, but he isn't insane. A lot of Truth there is about Western Balkan people.
Your Gedmatch results might reveal: How close you are to Greeks and Albanians, Bosnians and Croatians... that would be interesting to see.
But don't bother yourself about ancient ancestry... you will only find lies.
