UPDATE: Interactive MDS analysis of the East Baltic
Component #1 seems to be largely a Finnic-like (Left) vs. Baltic-like (Right) component.
Component #2 is less obvious, or at least doesn't have a general rule like the first component.

The MDS seems a little unclear to me. I took the data from EU7c and applied it to a few individuals:
Let's say, RU35, RU38, RU43 and UARU1 are practically on the same spot in Gnuplot, but their admixture data are rather disparate (EU9b):
RU38 has a low East Euro score, UARU1 has a high one. RU38 has a major NW Euro score, UARU1 has a low one. RU35 has an above average Baltic score, RU43 a below average one.Code:RU35 RU38 RU43 UARU1 West European 0.00001 0.00001 0.04354 0.12867 East European 0.23711 0.10697 0.19530 0.27455 Northwest Euro 0.16932 0.26514 0.12118 0.00001 North European 0.00757 0.00001 0.13341 0.08963 East Asian 0.00001 0.00001 0.00948 0.00001 South European 0.09117 0.00001 0.10884 0.08717 Sub-Saharan 0.00001 0.00001 0.00001 0.00001 North Asian 0.00001 0.00695 0.01003 0.00001 Baltic 0.49481 0.62087 0.37817 0.41992

Well, that certainly is quite general. I would have preferred a North European and a West Mediterranean cluster as well. This way, everyone seems part-Northeast European, and it is largely impossible to tell apart between East Europeans.

After some of my experiments, I doubt there that is a general North African cluster. It seems this was a composite, and soaking up a lot of Sub-Saharan African.
So I tried to break it up. That left only 50-60% North African in the Mozabite Berbers, and higher Middle Eastern and Sub-Saharan scores in everyone who used to score North African.
This can be done with a lot of clusters that represent large regions, but are based on small groups of people from the same ethnic groups.
I think the ADMIXTURE run will be different for you. From memory it was. But I didn't save the results.
It looks like the DIY didn't get the same amount of detail because you matched other Russians so well.
