I never knew much about them, apart from the fact that they existed. But in recent months I encountered them on YouTube channels and comments. Unfortunately, they've lost the plot as far as the Christian religion is concerned. They are not true Christians, their teachings are contrary to the core teachings of the New Testament. Hence, they are firmly into sectarian category, same as Jehovah's Witnesses. In fact they share some ideas with them, and they formed out of the same basic group of people in the US, at a similar time period. I get very offended by their ideas, because it's often the exact opposite of what we are taught in the Bible. It is really annoying. And the worst part of it, is that they seem to be thriving, and are very active on YouTube and the rest of the internet. I oppose them whenever I come across them, because they are dangerous and lead people astray from the one true Gospel.

Oh, and by the way... SDA are NOT Protestants... regardless of what they may tell you, in order to appear "normal".

They are an anomaly unto themselves. I've told you about my bad experiences with them in the past. I honestly have nothing good to say about them. Wait, I DO have something good to say - I like their lentil patties! SDA's rock the vegetarian food! But that's about where it ends. They have some rather odd beliefs. I can't understand why my mother sent me to those freaks for an education. All I got was Ellen G. White this and Ellen G. White that. All fire and brimstone. Everyone was waiting for the news report to come on the television, declaring that the Roman Catholic Church has forbidden worship on Saturdays. Whenever they hear the jingle for daily news, everyone flocks to the television to see if the Roman Catholics have taken away their right to worship on a Saturday. 30 years later, those same people are probably still flocking to see the 6 'o clock news.

Those people are crazy. Truly, truly crazy.

lol yes, the dreaded "Sunday Law". It is beyond me that they think there will be a national, perhaps worldwide law requiring all people to go to church on Sunday. Heck, that may actually not be a bad idea! Would keep many out of trouble.

And the worst part is that RCC doesn't give a damn about them. They're not even a gnat as far as Roman Catholicism goes. Reminds me of those romantic stalkers who believe the woman he is stalking is secretly in love with him, when in reality she doesn't even know he exists.

But I have my suspicion that the Seventh Day Adventists are some sort of Jesuit Counter-reformation project. I've seen some interesting stuff. Or perhaps even straight from the devil.

I saw this comment somewhere, which is very good:

Adventists will swear to you all day long that they aren't justified by honoring Mosaic law. They only honor Hebrew law to prove their loyalty to God. It goes way deeper than that with a supposed cosmic war between God and Satan over the Mosaic law. You can't find this. Inception anywhere in a real Bible. To the point of trying to be justified by the law an Adventist can sound like a southern baptist when they say they are saved by grace but their infallible interpreter taught that no man would enter Heaven without God's government seal and that seal is honoring Hebrew law. No matter how Adventists twist and turn words and logic any adherence to Hebrew law absolutely is righteousness by law, not faith. Or, an attempt to be justified by performance.It's not Christianity.
