no but foreal, what is the reference for "Southern" and "Caucasus" ? as far as i am concerned i have no mediterranean heritage, but i do have North african farmer, and Oromo district Ethiopian heritage.. Does that get clustered into Southern + Caucasus???


btw, i am a total of 14-16% Ethiopian + Moroccan (10-11% Ethiopian, 3-5% Moroccan)


i also looked at the reference population for "Belorussian" and they are only 78% Northern euro, the rest goes to southern and caucasus. since this test lacks a arab/north african component, would it be safe to say my euro is increased due to that fact?


also, i calculated the average for my euro and non euro percentages.


66.1% of 18.19% (southern + caucasus of Belorussian reference) = 12.02. 12.02% + 33.90% (my sandawe score) = 45.92%.


so, technically this test gives me 54.08% European, and 45.92% African. My 2% amerind is mixed somewhere in there, so remove either 2% from my afro or euro ancestry.


fun fact, 54.08% euro is actually very very close to what MyGenomeBox gave me, mygenomebox gave me 54.14% european, thats quite interesting tbh to me haha

personally, if i calculate the results myself then its quite ok, 45.92% african is maybe a little bit TOO high, so 2% removed should be fine to me perhaps.

Nice my G, i personally think World9 is a great calculator too, it gives decent percentages, only i dont know what the reference for the "Southern" and "Caucasus" components are, so its kinda confusing. Eitherway, in the 4th pop it gives me brazilian, puerto rican, and dominican so thats something new!
