Two grandparents are into 80s. My nana is in her late 70s, just retiring and still very sharp, She was in a local newspaper recently if you are interested.

One grandad died earlier, most likely due to mining when younger.

I'm impressed so many of you have had grandparents that lived so long... although I did have a great-aunt (Slovak) who lived 'til 91.

Only my paternal grandfather lived over 80.

Three lived past 90, my Grandfather on my mother's side died in his 70's.

Heart attack effects many men 50-65 years old in Italy.... i think 2 times more than women.

On my mums side my grandmother died at like 70, my grandad is still alive at 80, on my dads side my grandmother is still alive at 84 and almost all her siblings reached mid 90's so she has a while left hopefully, and my grandad died at 75 which was unlucky as both his parents hit 100.

3 of my grandparents reached 90.
