I’ve read that Serbs from Croatia are nothing more then Vlach peasants indoctrined by Serbian nationalism through the Serbian Orthodox church. Is this true?

Nikola Tesla who was Krajina Serb, was actually Vlach with pure Vlachic haplogroup R1a-M458
Krajina Serbs are autosomally closer to Croatians than to Serbs from Serbia. So if Krajina Serbs are Vlachs, than Croatians are also Vlachs.
This is trooll thread from low IQ frustrated Fyromanic.
Fyromanians are the most Vlachic influenced Slavic speakers.

No, Serbs from Croatia are the most North shifted Serbs with the highest Slavic Y dna component and are closer to Bosniaks and Dalmatian Croats even, on almost every dna test I get half Croatian or Bosnian as my reference pop so they must be from Romania also. Serbian Serbs plot considerably closer to Vlach's and Romanians than Croatian Serbs so the hypothesis than Croatian Serbs are Vlach impostors and not real slavs makes no sense and was a fail Ustase created ideology that was disproven by modern genetics, only individuals who lack the sense to distinguist between Vlach as a cultural class and vlash as an ethnicity would suggest such a thing. Macedonians are much closer to Vlach's autosomally and by paternal lineage. This is a fail thread.

Yup, I get half Croatian on all these autosomal tests, Dick gets Croat as well, I guess Croats are also from Romania. Who isn't a Vlach at this point? I wouldn't even care if I was a Vlach I don't get the obsession with it, but it's clear Krajina Serbs are the most Slavic shifted Serbs. This theory was created by Ustase folk back when they believed Croats were Germans (Ostrogoths) and they wanted to try and break the identity between Serbs. Modern genetics has dispelled this myth.
Serbian Serbs plot closer to Vlachs than Croatian Serbs which makes this whole theory even more hilarious lol.

Bullshit about Vlach origin of Krajina Serbs came from Ante Starčević who was mentaly ill person and half Serb (his mother was a Serb from Lika) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ante_Starčević#Biography
He divided Serbs on 2 branches. According to him Serbs from Bosnia and Croatia/Krajina are Vlachs, and Serbs from Serbia are mix of Turks and Gypsies. He wanted to convince Serbs from Bosnia and Krajina that they are of Romance origin. If they accept own Romance origin than catolization of them would be easier, because it's more natural that Romance people are Catholics than Slavic one.
Ante Starčević had few phases. Somethimes he wrote about Vlach origin of Serbs west of Drina, somethimes that they are mix of Vlachs and Orthodox Croatians, and somethimes that they are just Orthodox Croatians brainwashed by Serbian Orthodox Church.

I googled genetic studies on Macedonians out of interest since I am curious about there Y dna breakdown, this is first link that came up.

For some reason links on Bulgaria keep on going up, I think my pc is broken.

This seems like a touchy subject. Would love to hear from a Croat nationalist on this subject.

They can say what they want. In genetic and linguistic there is not conection between Krajina Serbs and Romanians/Aromanians.
Krajina Serbs mostly originated from Bosnia, Herzegovina and Raška (southwestern Serbia), not from Vlachic areas such as Romania, Albania, Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly...
Serbian standard is based on dialect of Herzegovinian and Krajina Serbs, just with ekavization (Herzegovinian/Krajina Serb dialct is ijekavian).

Crn Volk asked a question about Serbs of Krajina and people start attacking Macedonians by saying they are closer to Vlachs as if it's an insult.
