"Raki is an unsweetened, often anise-flavoured, alcoholic drink that is popular in Turkey, Turkic countries, Albania, Greek Islands and in the Balkan countries as an apéritif." - Wikipedia
Is Raki a traditional or widely enjoyed drink in your country? if not; have you ever tasted it?
I heard it is called Rakija in some places.
Ouzo is known as 'Greek raki' in Turkey.
Personally I prefer beer and vodka because I'm not into the anise flavor. Turkish raki has anise. I hear they do Raki without anise in some other countries.
