No one is contesting that, at least I am not. What I am contesting is your assertion that Cypriots have negligible Greek ancestry, or that the Italian is more prominent than Greek. It may very well be true. We all have our biases, and admittedly that is mine in this context, but I am open to being proven wrong.
Please prove to me that the majority of southern European ancestry in Cypriots is more Italian than ancient Greek.
