In my imagination the Euro Argentinians are typical Europeans (and then there are various levels of Native admixture..)
If you see a post in red font made by my username, that means that it is Pompey's post, not mine.

An interesting thread would be if argentines look closer to Mexicans or Italians. Despite huge Italian influence in Argentina, the Iberian component is higher.

Hard to tell since I don't know if mexicans are really as amerindian as many people here claim them to be.I just came back from Buenos Aires and it was my first time there,so my experience is limited to the argentine capital...taking BsAs alone,I'd put them as slightly closer to the spaniards, even though many people there showed amerindian traits, the population as a whole looked more european than thought it would

Of course, Mexicans are diverse, but there has to be a more common type/textbook Mexican, which would be a balanced Mestizo, right?
The problem is that many people have misconceptions/stereotypes about Latam. Iberian looking Mexicans and Pred-Euro Mestizos are seen as a normal part of Mexico's diversity just as the balanced Mestizos and Indo-Mestizo ones.

Yeah,I imagined that was the case, just like the city of São Paulo is less white than the state as a whole due to the high concentration of migrants from the Northeast. But as I said,I've stayed only in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires,my experience with the province is limited to Ezeiza hahahaha.I enjoyed my trip a lot,so I might come back soon to see more of the province and other parts of the country
