Oh, and that Montenegrin sample is a nice find too. It is looking more and more that they are fully within the Serbian cluster and that any people such as that woman I posted are outliers.

I don't know where is Momcilovic from. He has some exotic admixture from Steppe common in Magyars, Bulgars, Polish Szlachta, Cossacks, Romanians, Moldovans, etc. Close match, top 25 in GEDmatch.

No, but they were from all over Russia. Mainly Western and Northwestern parts though plus a lot of Ukrainians and Belorussians. It's a new territory, there's no specific genetic profile of them. I guess they are kind of like Baltic Russians. For example most Russians (excl. UA & BEL) in Estonia and Latvia (60-65%) were from European Russia west of Tatarstan, a lot were from oblasts that are geographically even closer to those Baltic republics (Pskov, Leningrad, Smolensk, Tver).
