What's your favorite RPG game?

I didn’t actually play any of the DLCs, maybe I should have back then, but I am not going to start now.

Notably Mothership Zeta is probably pretty hilarious, the whole concept of alien abduction is a subtle parody anyway, and that is the way I like it. Plus, there is a samurai from fifteen century mixed up in that.

Fallout universe is an interesting case, I often compare it with WH40k. The over the top elements and the whole concept of taking fantasy races with their stereotypes and put them into sci-fi are ridiculous to begin with, but it is still rather subtle. When you’re playing Dawn of War for example, you may even miss that the universe doesn’t take itself seriously.

You miss most of the fluff as a kid, which is normal since the scenario is made by adults.

Warhammer is notably interesting for many fantasy-lovers because it has now a large universe, and one that is still living through the imagination of new creators.

Liberty Prime in Fallout 3 was epic. While Bethesda took a more serious take on Fallout universe, his incredibly ironic quotes were hilarious.

‘Democracy is non-negotiable!’

Especially considering, he was reactivated to fight against the Enclave, patriotic, ‘murica is the best’ faction.

My favorite moment was leaving Vault 101 for the very first time. The graphics were excellent for back in the day and the entire landscape seemed so surreal, it was mindblowing to me....I spent at least 200 hours over several playthroughs in it and in one of them I explored every location on the map, finished every single side quest and picked up all unique weapons and armour . I don't believe any open world will be as good in my book as the Capital Wasteland. Exploring in New Vegas and F4 just doesn't give me the same feeling.

Yeah, it gives me some positive vibes too, although I never tried it either.

I tried becoming part of the pen and paper roleplaying scene in Auckland (went to the club night a few times) but I could never really get into it (I was more interested in the other club members' psyches and the subculture, than the actual rpg games themselves..)
