On the sea coast of Strandzha, like Tsarevo and Ahtopol, there is high possibility of Greek ancestry. In the inland there weren't many Greeks, today there are very few people left in this region.
Most places on the southern Black sea coast are home to many refugees from Western and Eastern Thrace, however many migrated to Burgas, which is the closest big town. Today half of the population of Tsarevo is gypsies, not sure for the other towns like Primorsko and Ahtopol.

***** posted that his father is from an old Bulgarian village in Strandzha, most people from there migrated to different parts of Bulgaria. As for the coast of Strandzha - it used to be inhabited mostly by Greeks until 100 years ago. 90% of Bulgarians living on the southern coast are from elsewhere. Strandzha as a whole - not more Greek than the rest of Bulgaria.
