Yeah, I do question my 13% Germanic to some degree but it doesn't seem completely out of the realm of possibilities given that some Transylvanian Romanians can have a slight German influence. In your case the result do seem a bit off if you get 50% Germanic but are mainly Serbian and British. Generally I think the Ancestry update made my results more accurate. The old Ancestry DNA results, MyHeritage, and DNA Land had me anywhere from 5-10% Finnish/Baltic which seems way off since PCAs and oracles show me genetically distant from North Slavs. I'm not sure if I'm 70% Northern European but Oracles like the Eurogenes K13 seem to provide results like this:
# Primary Population (source) Secondary Population (source) Distance
1 70.7% Southeast_English + 29.3% Central_Greek @ 2.28
2 67.1% Orcadian + 32.9% Central_Greek @ 2.3
3 83.7% West_German + 16.3% Italian_Abruzzo @ 2.3
4 63.8% Orcadian + 36.2% Italian_Abruzzo @ 2.32
5 69.2% Orcadian + 30.8% South_Italian @ 2.32
6 86.9% West_German + 13.1% South_Italian @ 2.39
7 67.6% Southeast_English + 32.4% Italian_Abruzzo @ 2.47
8 79.1% Southeast_English + 20.9% Cyprian @ 2.49
9 65.3% West_Scottish + 34.7% Central_Greek @ 2.52
10 90.6% West_German + 9.4% Cyprian @ 2.53

For you it seems like a possibility, you plot to the north for your mix also so it would make sense, especially if other tests have given you similar results. Ancestry is the only test that gave me such weird results, yet its raw data gives me perfect ftdna resutls, and this is my k13 top pop from ancestrydna LOL.
Using 2 populations approximation:
1 50% Serbian +50% Southeast_English @ 1.646529
Followed by 3 pop.
Using 3 populations approximation:
1 50% Danish +25% South_Polish +25% West_Sicilian @ 1.052142
The algorithm just fucked it for me, probably got confused with my mixture and tried to average out my DNA and gave me Germanic Europe, which makes sense since overall I plot South Austria/North Slovenia. You should upload your data to FTDNA, I would be curious to see how your Romanian side comes out. I get a pretty even 50/50 split with FTDNA.

That seems to suggest that the algorithm was wrong for you but the raw data was very good. So at least you got good raw data. I did upload my results to Family Tree but they only show matches for free, not origin. Maybe it would be worth the extra $19. You had to pay for it, correct?

Yeah I had to pay 19 quid, the results were accurate for me and you also get your ancient ancestry make up. FTDNA is a bit boring, but it's accurate where as ancestry tries to be too fancy. If you haven't you should do 23andme or a Y dna test to get your Y haplogroup. I'm saving up for an FTDNA one which goes more in-depth.

I think AncestryDNA results are good with Northwest Europe, esp the British Isles, and bad with Eastern Europe. For example, they identified 92 different genetic communities in Ireland yet they have this vast area for Eastern Europe that doesn't even distinguish between a Polish person and a Romanian despite obvious genetic differences.

My sister just received her AncestryDNA results. Here is how they compare to mine:
