I'm curious as to why such a high Yugoslav percentage in the MDLP oracle results. I compared to as many other British gedmatch kits as I could, who were in most cases 90%+ British Isles, with exceptions like mostly Dutch + Scottish. I then compared to some Croat kits and this one is very similar results to those. The Croat kits I compared these results to were largely somewhere from 50-70%+ Yugoslav + British/Dutch/German etc. MDLP is usually quite accurate so the very high % of Serbian confuses me.

My dad isn't balkan at all and has 50% serb on mdlp calcs. I think eurogenes is the best for northern and western euros for sure:

I mapped this kit and it was quite close to Belgians (as expected from Eurogenes results, as the oracle shows overwhelmingly NW Europe). Compared to other British Eurogenes results this is still quite similar. I just wonder why major differences begin to show with MDLP (which consistently show more similarity with Croat kits instead of British kits).

Could be. I thought if this was true I'd be seeing similar MDLP results from other NW European kits but those were usually consistent with at least the region of their ancestry. At least your dad's results show less similarity with other NW European kits in Eurogenes results so it's consistent with MDLP in that way. In this case I'm not sure if it's their ancestry or just a calculator error.
