Now... After tempest/hurrucane VAIA ( 200 km per hours wind ) 29 October 2019...

I wonder how long it would take to rebuild such a forest. 50 years ? 100 ?

Oak. We do have forests but what we'd have more is what we'd call "productiebos" where pines were grown for masts.

We have the same climate and, in areas, much the same soil. Plus our forests and British forests traditionally saw much the same use.
