Do the Scottish people hate the English people? Does Scotland hate England? A debate that many have had and a question many people have asked me. In this weeks vlog a Wee Scottish Lass will discuss the topic with you. Learn about British Politics Here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSMq...

Turns out they don't. It's political bickering and folklore.

Every nationality has people who hate their neighbours for whatever reasons. Overall the Scots just resent England/Westminster having control over them, which I can't fault them for, and I don't think any English person should, especially any nationalist who wants to be free from Brussels (or Westminster itself).
Spoiler!

Most people from a noble lineage have probably bred more with the English than the Gaels. Most metropolitan Scots can trace their ancestry back to recent Irish immigration, all the actual Scots went off to Canada, America and colonized Northern Ireland. The number one Football club in Scotland is an Irish Catholic Club.

But the families of any worth in Scottish history were all Norman is what I am saying and most of the Norman clans cleared out or were cleared out. I agree most lineages in Scotland probably were Irish but the elite were all Normans and families like mine even turned against our peers and supported William of Orange. Old Scotland is dead.

The SNP are mixed with it's demographics which is why they do well in rural and urban. Non-pensioners that are Scottish born are most likely independence voters.
From what i see the English are more anti English than the Scots. They have insecurity with the st George flag.
