George Galloway sacked by talkRADIO over allegedly anti-Semitic tweet
3rd June 2019
George Galloway hosted a weekly show on TalkRADIO
George Galloway has been sacked by talkRADIO after sending an allegedly anti-Semitic tweet.
The former MP posted on the social media site after the European Champions League final between the English teams of Liverpool and Tottenham on Saturday night.
He praised Liverpool's win, before adding: "No #Israël flags on the Cup!" - appearing to reference Tottenham's strong links with the Jewish community.
On Monday, the radio station said it had terminated his weekly show.
Mr Galloway hit back at his former employer, tweeting: "See you in Court guys."
Lord Alan Sugar from The Apprentice, (a Jewish billionaire, British business magnate, media personality, politician, and political adviser... who cheekily asked my work manager for a discount once, (my boss said he absolutely refused to give billionaire Lord Sugar a discount just because he's a famous customer,) and who speaks-out against Nigel Farage and Brexit,) lost his temper with George Galloway at 8:30. Lord Sugar started rudely yelling in his very rough accent, 'Just shut ya mouth! Just shut ya mouth!' at George Galloway.
