I'd build my own house and make it way better than the Jewish and Muslim houses, and nobody would be allowed to stay.

That takes out all the fun. But that reminds me of a question that a Neo-con was trying to push on people some years ago, he asked people: if they would be lost in the desert, night time, in the middle of a sand storm and then, suddenly, they would found two houses, one was a jewish family' house (that would take them if they would pay for the stay), and the other one was a muslim family' house (that would take them if they would convert to islam), which one they would pick...

(and to answer you, since you offered "neither" option, that's it).

If people intend on going to an island in the Caribbean, they're far better of going to Puerto Rico. It's more developed compared to Cuba or Dominican Republic thanks in part to the US, I don't even know why people consider Cuba or Dominican republic over PR. you'll still get a great Caribbean experience without the communism and bartenders serving you counterfeit alcohol containing deadly amounts of methanol.

Israel is more modern and advanced economically. Cuba is more like a holiday destination and a living reluque of the 70's Socialist era, probadly a good destination for cultural tourism

Israel without second tought. My dream is to visit Holy Land. My parents were there and they loved it. From people who visited Cuba I heard very bad things about people.
Also cultural heritage of Israel and Cuba are simply incomparable.

Cuba interest me as means to go back in time and see something similar to my childhood in USSR. Also, the climate is extremely exotic and interesting.

Israel interests me as a place where Jews have so few gentiles around.

    Cuba attracts me more.
    Do what you should.

Interestingly, both countries are among the most militarised in the world in terms of their army sizes and military spending per capita. Both countries have among the world's highest proportions per capita of doctors and scientists, and certainly I am sure most developing countries have at some stage imported them from one or both countries. Both countries place a lot of emphasis on education, only that in Israel people can apply it a lot better.

Ooh, hard question... I think I'm choosing Cuba. Seems to have a more fun and colorful culture imo.
