One of the Sigtuna "Vikings" 1100AD. That term bugs me and I will get to that later, is my mothers 4th cousin according to her results at almost 50 cM
If she is this individuals "4th Cousin" then why don't I have a match to the same DNA sample with my results?
    Very funky stuff.

Getting back to the "Viking" thing this site is using, Viking is not an ethnicity is an occupation, it's what the Norse did.
Norsemen or Norse would be a more appropriate term to use.

I'll be sticking to Gedmatch and the calculators there for the time being, and checking out my"not quite so true"ancestry for a bit of a fun diversion and taking it all in with a grain of salt, there are certainly a number of things that do make sense.
I've found a paper trail of records with a connection to the 1650 Coffin DNA sample on my mothers side through a material line, but that deep dive? hmmmmmm.
Yea only the original settlers of Iceland were actually like Pirate/Outlaw types, I hate that label too when it really doesn't apply to 60-70% of Norse history. I don't put much faith in autosomal dna, just found it weird because my haplgroup is from that area , it is like absurdly high though. They have a lot of work to do, DNA land is also wonky like that.
Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.

Even if this were hard--that is how it is ! Assuredly, however, by far the harder fate is that which strikes the man who thinks he can overcome Nature, but in the last analysis only mocks her. Distress, misfortune, and diseases are her answer.

I think , whether it be 'My true ancestry' 23andMe etc or a DIY calculator , that there's a lot of ifs and buts involved when it comes to interpreting the data.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

I see you've got a Zeus account. I'm at the Caesar level. $100 for the upgrade is far too much . It gives me the impression the owners see it as being a cash cow.

I'll wait for a sale, at that level $100 is too steep for 40 extra samples.
Also as a test I converted my Ancestry data to 23andme using DND Kit Studio, and uploaded the data to mytrueancestry and got differing cM results in the deep dive section. I picked up over 80cM on a completely different 'Viking' sample.
Not sure if it's the conversion skewing the results, but interesting and somewhat confusing none the less.
