Hello everyone
I'm new on this forum and please excuse me if I didn't open the topic in the right place.
To begin with, I would like to briefly introduce myself: I am from Romania, a country with a very mixed population, and I like to observe and analyze each individual, cataloging it in one or more ethnicities.
Although my report/question may seem silly to some, for a long time I noticed that redheads in my area have a tendency to mix with semitic people (in this case, unmixed gypsies and Romanian mixed gypsies, Armenians, Et cetera). How could that be explained? By the lack of education in the family regarding to reproduce with people of the same color, genetic predisposition or something else?
I would like to mention that I thought it might just be just some 'single cases', but over time I see something completely different. I have examples even in my family, where Armenians with semitic physiognomy mixing with redheads of Szekler (Turkic Kabar) origin.

Armenians are not Semitic, neither are Gypsies.
As for the choices of redheads, I don't think anecdotal evidence from one person is sufficient to draw such conclusions.

Red hair is "common" among unmixed Jews. In Bosnia Sephardic stereotype is a redhead. King David was a redhead. It is a trait native to Levant.

Semitic is a wrong term to refer to Arabic.
Shem was the brother of Iapetus and his descendants were Indo-European speakers.
