well i am not denying certain similarities , you can feel assocaition to Pakistan as much as you want afterall Pakistan is indo iranian heartland with Gandhara and IVC, but these forums attract very immature people who might think you are trying to darkwash kurds and think i want to whitewash pakis , i dont want such comments , personally i think iraqi arabs are more deserving of your assocaition as your country has lot of fractured faultlines.

There are alot of keyboard warriors though who have created a bad image for their ethnicity but i think those people whether they are kurds, pashtuns, punjabis, turks, persians are 2nd generation in other words born outside their countries.

For example Kurds such as myself who are raised in Kurdistan or Pashtuns or Punjabis raised in Pakistan you’ll find are very hospitable and respectful by nature. Alot of The ones born and raised overseas you ‘ll will find are idiots

The problem is that a good number of south Asian and mena members join these forums to whitewash their countries. It is so easy to troll them. Sometimes I am so tempted. I have seen some members from these countries photoshop their pictures for classification, so they look light. And they only post the lightest people from their respective countries for classification. IMO there is definitely a colorism problem in these countries which manifest itself on these forums

Ok i kind of see where you’re coming from. Haduken posts pictures of kurds from his area. Some of them overlap the Iraqi kurds from my family but many don’t. He himself has said Iraqi kurds look foreign to him. By Pakis i’m including all types of pashtuns and balochis too. Actually some of his pictures do overlap pashtuns and Balochis.

But ok the challenge is on and maybe you do have an extra sharp eye. We shall see I’ll post some pics of random Pakis and kurds some from my family and some from my area with a poll and ask to say which are kurds and which are pakis.

Now don’t wimp out on me because if you don’t guess I’ll assume you can’t tell the difference. This is your chance to prove me wrong. I’ll make sure the pics i post are verifiable. Good luck.

Seems like it. Most, if not all turkey kurds seems too different from south asians(although some indeed had a little overlap with pashtuns and some are even brown-skinned).

But i only seen two eastern kurds in my life(iranian and iraqi ones). They actually seems different from the turkish kurds i seen and could pass a little better in the more eastern parts...
