Actually, many of the samples i found can be quiet diverse. Im not entirely sure if fars or shiraz(i think shiraz too). They can be quiet diverse. SOme are just like other west iranians. SOme are like iranian balochis, while others mixed inbetween balochs and west iranians. SOme have african in them partly and some are like arabs.

Well, that's like the heartland of Persia. Farsi is named after Fars.

Have seen a couple of results from regular Persians from Shiraz. They seemed to be on the southern end of the usual West Iranian cline, meaning more Gedrosian/Baloch than in the Northwest and a bit less Euro.

i think shirazis, like fars, will be diverse, unlike mazandaranis and complete NW'ers. So hard to give a clear conclusion unless we go with shirazis being very diverse....

I dont think Persians from Shiraz will be diverse. If you're talking about minorities yes it will.
