Yea not very serious, even these deep dive matches are strange. You get a 19.576 distance and a ”deep dive match” for the black sea one, while I don't get a deep dive but have 19.186 distance. Same with the Scythian Moldova, mine is one point lower at 18.56 but no ”deep dive” whatever that even is.

deep dive is a snp/CM match, like one-to-one autosomal matching on gedmatch, it's meant for finding cousins up to 7th degree basically

seem to range from Slav to GermanoSlav , the East German and Austrian population clustering I assume means Germano Slav.

The interesting thing is they seem to be matching with East Euro / Slavic members as opposed to West and Nth Europeans.

Well it's clear that geographically we are close to them, and the less Farmer input one has the closer they are to these Scythians. But while the first guy has relatable Atlantic and Baltic to a Romanian somewhat, his West Asian is huge with very low East and West Med. The 2nd one doesn't even have East Med but his West Med and West Asian are high. I haven't seen a single contemporary population in Europe or Caucus/Turkey/Near East who has these proportions on average, even close.

Yes the proportions are interesting , the west asian shows up in his mixed mode with populations from caucasus.
I guess one assumption could be that possibly ancient populations had different proportions to what exist these days.
