Won't happen in near future. Much earlier mankind has either moved to space (used Earth to end) or died as doing that or via nuclear wars. Plus of course we just might be unlucky (asteroids). Lets hope that for example Jupiter's huge gravity will protect us not opposite... ends to destroy us.

I agree that we should take more care of plants, trees and animals, especially because trees produce oxygen, and we breathe and for every major deforestation (caused by humans) we also destroy sources of oxygen, but I doubt that does help reduce global warming, for me global warming is a natural cycle that has the earth from time to time like winter.

People don’t seem to realize how climate change and extinction events actually work. Short answer: we’re fine, calm the fuck down. It’s not like human activity is going to cause some Roland Emmerich’s 2012 style cataclysm. I don’t even have to go against the case of climate change to stress this. For example Ordovician-Silurian extinction events, which were orders of magnitude above the worst case scenario of what we have now in their severity, took literally tens of millions of years of gradual environmental changes to mess with the biosphere like that. Geological time scale is kinda different than the dishonest sensation hunters from the media seem to suggest.
