He seems to be about 1/32 gypsy.Gypsies on 23andme currently score west asian followed by central and south Asian, thats what his 23andme tells him too at trace.
He is definitely 0% italian, all Eastern Euros and Balkanites who scored italian on 23andme ended up having a type of asian instead. His italian is going to turn to west asian and more gipsy within the next updates.23andme currently has trouble distinguishing italian from west asian + other types of asian, 6% = one fully italian great-great-grandparent, 23andme only tests in the last ~300 years, can't be anything medieval.
His DNALand shows his distant gypsy ancestry too, he scores the gypsy combination of Indus Valley +indo-iranian.Overall,he's a mix of romanian with germanic and some slavic and like 1/32 gipsy.

Also interesting to note how Romanian members score Hungary in 23andme, but Stears doesn't score Romania at all. Unlike mongrel IncelSlayer he now cluster with Hungarian average on every gedmatch calculator and doesn't get a single region outside of Hungary . My dear, looks like it was Hungarians who spread their seed in Romania, not the opposite.![]()
