I would have been fine with low status Haunstetten tbh, the emphasis on high status from 4000 years ago makes me laugh. Everybody is apparently from noble stock, but most of us have somehow become peasants and plebs since the time genealogical records became reliable. What a cruel twist of fate.

I did, but It disappeared off my list, genetic distance was too great for the number of samples.
I do have the Netherland samples though.

Lol, they just lost their noble status in the medieval times, yes, a cruel twist of fate. I've long accepted that I come from peasant stock because the likelihood of royal lineage is slim to none. No shame in being a peasant because it's what 90% of population was through much of human history. That doesn't stop Americans from thinking they came from the House of Windsor.

Yeah, sorry, but it's true that this is something that Americans excel at. Australians tend to know they come from pretty humble origins and are comfortable/proud of it, there's not really any room for larping there.
