I agree that g25 coordinates should be better for free but they are on the otherside not that expensive to buy. Most gedmatch calcs are terrible when used for ancient pops or modelling ancient ancestry in modern pops. Basically all are not useable for ancient pops. For modern pops they are definetly useful to some extent because they are good in capturing drifted components but g25 is much more flexible and you can create an endless number of calcs and analyzes with it. Gedmatch is not getting any new calcs in the last time and there are big privacy issuess there.

It is only one when you get Hungarian on first place I guess?

No i think on gedmatch i get it on couple other calculators . but i tend to get it more consistantly in top 3 to 5 oracle positions of gedmatch calculators.

In the Eurogenes i often get Austrian,East German in top position ... in the Vahudo K13 I get Austrian in 1st position but when i remove Austrian i get Hungarian.
Overall I get Hungarian or central Euro populations in closer oracle positions than i get British populations ...kind of interesting considering heritage wise im half Hungarian half British.

That could very well be real ancestry it is picking up for your mom. The calculator wants to pick Southwest England for my mom, and that is where we think her great-grandmother was from.

I can't seem to get the calc to favor West German for her, although that is the bulk of her ancestry on paper.
