That makes it pretty unique as WHG and ANE were very distinct, as is EHG from both of them, and everything else. ANE also wasn't contemporaneous with EHG so you can't compare them. EHG and WHG are the two extremes of the Mesolithic European cline that modern Europeans derive their ancestry from and that pulls them away from West Asians/MENAs.

But modern Europeans are not directly descended from ANE, they get that ancestry from EHG like people. I didn't claim that any component is 'truly unique', but that modern Europeans derive their remaining uniqueness from Mesolithic European Hunter Gatherers, that were very distinct from other West Eurasian populations.

You should thank me for bumping your thread. Where is the thank you?
Sounds like you’re upset that I exposed your agenda. You don’t have the balls to admit to have an agenda and you were too ignorant to even understand your gedmatch results, Token even pointed it out. Don’t make a Varg troll thread if you can’t take the heat.

Most West Eurasians have some steppe ancestry and thus EHG admixture. Some like Pashtuns, Jats and Tajiks have a lot of it.
WHG admix isn't unique to Europeans either since Steppe_MLBA got a lot of EEF ancestry from Erteboelle (40% WHG) and GAC and spread it to entire West Eurasia, but it is only really important for Eastern Europeans. Contrary to what people think, ANF actually peaks in Western Europe. Near Easterners have Natufian, a more Basal-rich version of ANF.
