Actually mixed Turks with Turanid input resemble Latinos a lot. I think Eastern Turkey has less chance of getting mistaken for Latinos much more so than Western Turkey since the West side has a strong Central Asian input. Often giving a mongrelized look of Med-Asian combination similar to Mestizos. I think Turks without Turanid input wouldn't be mistaken for Mexicans and look fully Caucasoid.

They are not similar at all. Literally the only thing they have in common is the fact that they live in warmer climates. Middle Easterners IMO are far closer to South Asians in terms of culture, mentality, etc.
