About 80% of the mild, 20% it is not. If it is mild, you will be better in two weeks after minor pneumonia, or sometimes less than that. If it is severe, it is a 4-6 week battle for most, so the people who have died in Italy probably had it in their system for at least 3-4 weeks.

Lol "dozens of cases", on the Diamond Princess they managed to get over 600 infected in one week, it's a highly contagious virus with an elevated R0 and that does not give permanent immunity.

If the authorities are saying the truth lets take the numbers of the most afected countries:

Population of China: 1.395.380.000
Infected (by now): 77660 patients

Population of South Korea: 51 millions
Infected (by now): 977 patients

Population of Japan: 126 millions.
Infected (by now): 847 patients

Population of Iran: 81 millions
Infected (by now): 61 patients

The statistics by now are very low. Another question would be if the authorities are hiding information...
