Which company did you test with? It should be easy to find through your DNA Relatives if it's real or not, provided that you tested with either 23andme or MyHeritage.

I did MyHeritage, will get a 23andme kit for Easter when it's on sale (I hope). I know my ancestors up to the great-great-grandparents, none had any German names or possible ancestry.
