Brizgalova looks to be Polish or some Western-shifted Ukrainian. High NA and very low mong.

Could be, but that surname seems most popular in Russia.
Was the half Azeri guy born in Moldova or Russia? I didn't add him, because I thought that he was born in Russia. I didn't understand in the end if Daos' ancestry is all from the territory of Moldova. If so then is it R. Moldova or Romanian Moldavia?

These two with surname Moldovan is debatable if they are Moldavians, no matter from Romania or Republic. And the reason is the surname itself.

The adoptee was adopted from Moscow but his birth certificate stated that his mother was Moldavanka.

Daos is maternally Ukrainian, paternally half Polish half Romanian, born in the Rep of Moldova.

I know, but firstly they exist in Moldavia and R. Moldova in comfortable numbers and secondly they both score too much Baltic for Wallachia and too much Baltic and/or too little Atlantic for Transylvania.
Obviously this isn't a scientific study and that's why academic data is most reliable.

in bold the outliers which may point to recent admix from other populations not from the region (Germanic and Levantine mostly, and they seem to go together)

I wouldn't even call the person from Transnistria mixed personally, but I'm recording her as such just for the sake of not being called biased

Pure Ukrainians score an average of Baltic in the lower 40s% on K13, so she could easily be straight up pure Ukrainian genetically.

This surname is very common in Romania, mostly in Transilvania, in Moldova region is very atypical. He is in top 20 most popular Romanian surnames. In Republic he exist too, but is more concetrate on periferic regions, especially from north, plus many people from minorites have it. And first time I hear about high Atlantic in Romanians from Transylvania, many score even lower than this individual, about Baltic, I don't know, the user Carpatz score 30% Baltic, but he is from Maramureș, not really Transylvania.

He scores 28%, but yeah, they could be either from there or Moldavia, since they fit with the rest. With regards to higher Atlantic, if I'm not mistaken right now, that's kind of what I noticed. I will create separate threads on Transylvania, Wallachia and then a summary thread for all 3 regions at some point in the future.
