Flamenco
Awesome short performance by Carmen Amaya in London, 1944. Never saw a woman dance flamenco like her, and never will.

Ballet
In contrast to all that unbeatable passion, ballerina Anna Pavlova. I don't fancy women in a tutu at all, but this was not a woman, this was a dying swan.

American swing
I end the first post of this thread with Fred Astaire, in a great cool dance here with a Margarita Cansino (that is, Rita Hayworth) in her prime, to the tune of Elvis' bossanova song, which was obviously not the one in the You were never lovelier film, but which fits nicely.

Those are great videos, Italian. It would be better if you embedded them in here (by just adding the part of the link after the = sign).

The best version of the Tarantella i have seen was from a 1950's documentry i saw on RAI educational channel or something.
In the 1950's Vittorio di Sica made a doc about Calabrian fishermen and their lives and at the end there was some footage of the young children dancing the Tarantella on the beech whilst the village had a bit of a festa.
I cant find the documentry or clips from it anywhere.....nor does it pop up in di Sica's filmography.....i imagine he did it to pay of some of his gambling debts...but it was interesting all the same.

I love dancing and dance a lot.Never took dance classes though. But since childhood I would always gather big audience to watch me, people would find my dancing style very unusual but very beautiful. When I grew up I realised my style is similar to legendary Isadora Duncan when you dance with your soul.As they say it is a language of movement.
