Thread was made by Bosniensis and was purged, you stated Oghial is a russian loanword due to russification - you didn't realize it was used by several Moldavian authors and is a regional word in western Moldova as well. Nurzat can attest, since you replied to his list of Moldavian regional words.

No, I didn't.
I said oghial is a regionalism with a small spread, in places with many East Slavic speakers (which in Western part of Moldova are only a few), because it is not known by many Moldovans.
This has nothing to do with Russification. Russification is a deliberate political process. The use of words like oghial has nothing to do with it.
Stop putting words in my mouth. You and Nurzat do this all the time. Read properly what I say, not what you think I say.

most Moldovan-speaking county is Vaslui, this is where all these words are from, Vaslui is far away from any Slavic settlers place like Suceava or Maramures or even Botosani. the hundreds of local words of Old Slavic origin are in no way coming from Russians or Ukrainians, I bet they were inherited from our Early Slavic ancestors that Vlachs found in the region when they arrived. those words have been in use one thousand years ago as well, I bet. while Romanians in Suceava live next to Slavs and they don't use most words one can quote from Vaslui. so your theory has no ground. the Slavic Moldovan regional words are heritage from that side of our ancestry that is Early Slavic

well you said you are from an upper middle class family, maybe your folks spoke standard Romanian at home, there are some Moldovans that do that in that social class. anyway by your entire discourse on any topic you seem totally disconnected from the realities in Romania in general and in Moldova region in particular. countryside Vaslui is pure Middle Ages in language, mentality and looks
