irl I avoid interacting with people that leave their region - and I dislike a lot the Moldovans that go to Cluj Bucharest Timisoara "to study and work" - they will all stay there forever and become useless for Moldova region. why not study and work in Moldova for less money in order to upgrade region? between moving to another region in Romania and moving to another country I choose another country, at least I won't hear the shitty accents of the people in Romania's other regions. also I cut contacts with female relatives that married foreigners. they would be a bad example for my kid.

I think you'd also be fine in certain parts of Ukraine, SW in particular since you are fluent in Ukrainian. Those guys would prefer a Negro who speaks Ukrainian to someone like me for example

in a way they are, aren't they? as Yankees are foreign in Texas or Georgia. I am not a nationalist. I am a regionalist. I understand nation, but I favour region, which is not ethnically exclusive (unlike nation). so as regionalist I am equally Moldovan to a Csango from Bacau, to a Lipovan from Iasi or to a Hutsul from Suceava. regionalism is way better than nationalism - in nationalism neighbours of different ethnic identity fight each other, in regionalism they cooperate and have same regional identity. so yes to us a Bucharester/Kluzser/Timishoran is more foreign than a Csango or a Hutsul and also than a Moldovan from Chisinau or Chernivtsi

Moldavia is a medieval mix of Vlachs and Rusyns (which we all know means Russian ), so Nurzat is 100 percent native to his land.

Not necessarily. Romania took in countless Ukrainians and Russians in the past 200 years, far more than what was native. The Russian push to populate Southern Ukraine overflew in Romania.

There's no way for me to assess whether his Rusyn component is native or not. So I go by the Vlach component. In that regard he's 50% native.
