Moldavian is not a mixture of romanian and russian. romanian is a mixture of moldavian and french.
Now, if you read what the author of the lyrics of anthem of Moldova said in 1917, acording to a romanian nationalist that was a witness, maybe some things will be more clear to you.
..after all of them, father Mateevici spoke a lot, abut thirty-forty minutes about all kind of strange things, his speech was a sort of lesson about history and literature, full of mistakes, though. He was saying that us here will learn our Moldavian language, used by the church, not the Frenchified language, used across the Prut (Romania), or the language used by the Bucharest newspapers, that is impossible to understand "like a kind of Tatar language". Moldavian language is very rich, as all the Russian texts can be translated with ease into Moldavian. As proofs he read till boredom translations made by him from Russian texts. He ended with an original poem of his: "Our Language".
Onisifor Ghibu (Romanian nationalist from Transylvania) "In the Whirlpool of the Russian Revolution. Notes from Basarabia of the year 1917", page 164.
He even wrote a poem about what romanians did to the moldavian language called „Noi nu ne intelegem” ("We do not understand each other"). Yet, the as usual that doesn't stop the bastards to consider his poem obout moldavian language "Our language" the most beautiful anthem dedicated to romanian language. The pages of Wikipedia dedicated to his poem and to Mateevici are an insult.

Transnistria is about 1/3 Moldovan ethnically and they still write in Cyrillic, though I presume they would rather use Russian for writing.

You have to be literate to understand that it's a synonym for the same thing. That's why in the 21st century, the plurality of Moldovans call it Romanian in Chisinau, the uncontested cultural centre of the country.
Cavemen can carry on calling it Moldovan and seeing conspiracies and the imaginary destruction of Moldovan identity and nation if they want to. Nothing will change in the real world.

So you saying romanians are speaking moldavian? And if they are synonymous, why there is such a massive propaganda work to remove everything moldavian? That is exactly what cultural genocide is. And you are guilty of it, as I bet this is how you earn you poor payslip.

You can spare me the bullshit. All this piss talk is wasteful, because at the end of the day, when you were looking for a job, you 100% wrote Romanian in your CV. Otherwise, nobody would have taken you seriously, even if you might have had all the necessary skills, and you know that.
I'm not arguing any longer on language questions with you. It's been Romanian in mandatory education for 30 years already. It's time to adapt with the times, old man.
