Ok, so lets be clear, you are a representative of the Romanian minority of Moldova. You are not moldovan and don't represent in any way, shape of form the moldovans, that are constitute the vast majority of the population of Moldova and they speak moldovan language. I am well aware what is happening in schools and media, and the impact that it had on the weaker segments of the youth. But that will have to change and it will change. The Romanian minority will have its own schools where they can learn Marin Preda, Caragiale, about Vlad the Impaler and so on, their own language and history, their own media. The moldavians will have their own schools where they will study Neculce, Creanga, Sadoveanu, Mateevici and learn about Bogdan, Stephen the Great and others moldovans that fought, lived and died for Moldova and their own media.

This is the only proper way to do things right in Moldova.

Literally everyone in R. Moldova who choose to identify as Romanian has roots solely from Republic of Moldova, and that includes me and my ancestors. Deal with it.

Vlachs living on the territory of the present day Romania in the 11th century and later were proper Romanians. By 11th century they had already split from Vlachs living South of Danube.

Give me sources from Medieval times where they call themselves Romanians. Plus explain why Romanian identity was promoted by elite (very heterogeneous by origin), but wasn't the identity of simple peasants.

Exact reactia mea. Pe cand artsi ne-a demonstrat inca o data unde se pozitioneaza pe spectrul autistic, eu am invatat sa lucrez cu PLINK si Eigensoft.

Si am reusit sa culeg raw data mostrelor din Stefan Voda, pe care le-am convertat in format 23andme.

Plus la asta, un user de pe apricity mi-a atras atentia la un studiu de care eu nu stiam.

In studiu se scrie ca au cules 32 de mostre dintr-o locatie din Moldova, pe care am cautat-o dupa coordonate si pare sa fie orasul Straseni.
I-am contactat pe 2 dintre autori si ei mi-au transmis toate datele din studiu, iar eu de acolo am extras ceea ce ne intereseaza, moldovenii.
Tot i-am convertat in format 23andme si acus voi lucra cu ei in Admixture Studio, ca sa vad ce rezultate inregistreaza in K13. Sa-mi scrii in PM, daca vrei sa-i incarci pe toti pe GEDmatch.

I don't want go into another useless discussion about identity, but people here always called themselves Moldavians and their language Moldavian. Is not just a coindicdence what Romanian identity, is more like a trend, not like a real nationalism, and is specific mostly for urban heterogenous societiy, not rural area, were people are more homogenous. I never criticize local individuals who identify herself as Romanians, until they start to attack personally me, since vast majority show aggressivity, and love very much to mock and insult, in general they love to mock their own identity, wich is specefic for Western liberals who hate their White identity, vast majority of pro-Romanians are very pro gay, pro multiculturalism, equality. As Ixulescu wrote many times, to be a Romanian you don't need to care about your origins, in fact is more good to forget about them, this is how a real Romanian need to be, bassically you need to be a mongrel. The incident which happen early in this thread, when Basescul posted a video from Caplani, when in the begining is hear simple local peasant music, wich for him sound alien and "Bulgarian", pretty much show what I said above.

Some good Moldavian peasant music which is totally atypical for Romania.
