It'd be more interesting to compare them with other populations in vahaduo, but that's ever more grueling work. Considering what they score, I think it's best to model them as Chamar + Bulgarian/Macedonian + Armenian.

Yeah and that must be the reason why they're so dark. Imagine someone who is a mix of South Indian, Armenian and Bulgarian in equal proportions. Chances are that person is going to be much darker than any European.

Okay, so I actually went and calculated the average for every single one of their components - all 11 samples I posted here were used. This is what I got:

Modelling this through vahaduo using the populations I previously mentioned actually gets you a very low distance! Keep in mind this Indian group is the lowest caste of them all:
