How the Russian grandpa fits with the myheritage result though?

I should have given from the beginning more information about my ancestry so people don't get confused. Actually, I was born in southern Russia on the black coast sea from both Pontian parents from Kerasounta and Trapezounta as I mentioned but as far as I know one of my great grandmothers from my father's side was Russian. I live in Thessaloniki since my childhood. I didn't mention that because many people don't want to discuss things when they here about rosopontians. My DNA results from MyHeritage was 52.5 west Asia 46.3 Greek 1.2 Ashkenazi.

Okay, that makes sense, but MyHeritage didn't detect any East European, Balkan or Baltic? How many of your matches on MyHeritage don't appear to be Greek?

I think MyHeritage is pretty trash at predicting admixture, it gives me 30% Sephardic Jew for example. If he has full Russian matches that are not extremely distant that would be enough proof of that kind of ancestry.

I have no idea but with 1/8 ,I'd expect even some kind of noise..

I have no idea but with 1/8 ,I'd expect even some kind of noise..

His Greek % is very high. His MyHeritage results make sense in comparison to his GEDMatch but it's not adding up to the reported known ancestry now.
