Yes, it is. I have seen Persian results on Anthrogencia of a compiled K11 Turkic calculator score of members. I don't see how you might not have Turkic %, given the region is very close to Turkic traffic through the ages.

I got about 4% Total (2.55 Turkic, the rest Northeast Asian) so I'd say its fairly accurate. Not sure if its over reporting or not, just considering all of my other tests, but cool nonetheless

Is the Turkic K11 useful for someone like me? I can never get an actual figure for what I have (Eurogenes gives me >1% Siberian, PuntDNAL gives me like 3%) and I have a couple percent Central Asian on 23andMe as well

In light of the fact that the great majority of surnames in your family tree are Magyar, what your results say to me is that not all Hungarians have Germanic admixture.

And that there is a decent gradient in Hungarians, with some who can be modeled as West Slavic/Germanic and others who are more heavily Balkanic, like you - and particularily, as we know, the Szekelers.

I wouldn't take them too seriously. It just shows that your Hungarian mixture is more similar to the current Serb rather than Hungarian average reference.
