Someone had found very "Italian like" samples in Annecy (actually only 2) but I think that these are outliers, definitely, I had another result from Annecy that was at 62 pct Baltic + N.Atlantid, and results from people who were partially from Haute-Savoie, 0 italian shift (actually the contrary).

But as I said, if I add also northern-shifted samples, the whole region will be closer to Central France.

However, I have excluded those northern outliers and added them to the Central French group instead.

Let me check, I excluded a total of 12 samples from Provence and added them to "Central France".

So I excluded almost as many as I included (18 included, 12 excluded). Provence is divided genetically.

I have made a separate sub-average from these 12 ones excluded and called it Northern Provence.

Update, new Provence average has 18 samples.

Just to give you some idea:

Northern-shifted group from Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur is very close to southern-shifted group from Hauts-de-France.

So they are both in "Central" (while Italian-like samples from Provence are in "FRA_Provence", and Belgian-like from HDF in "FRA_Belgica").

So there is probably not that much of a difference between Northern Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Southern Picardy.
