Well depends what you consider Mediterranean but if Bergamo-like populations have lived at the coast of the Mediterranean Sea since the Bronze Age then I would say they have earned the right to be called Mediterranean.

They are West or North Mediterranean.

Of course they have lots of Steppe ancestry.

Are you just a German-British mix or do you have some other ancestry too?

I'm surprised a German-British person plots so close to South Germans, because British admixture should be pulling you to the north.

I just found out that previously unknown family members were actually Swiss Germans. They were from Obstalden in Glarus. This would definitely help explain my pull towards southern Germans.

In other words, I have more southern German ancestry than I thought.
