Most likely. Because his south Asian is 1 percent higher than mine that probably isn't just noise. But I mean that's so low that for me it doesn't matter its like an American claiming to be 1/8th Cherokee or something.

I agree, 1/8 or less shouldn't really matter IMO. Not saying one should deny it or anything but emphasizing such distant ancestry especially when it's not even documented makes no sense either.

My mom scores similarly on MyHeritage, but her Moldovan/Romanian side is from the South, which is obvious on K13.

Some Poles are more Eastern Euro, others more Baltic. Lukasz can tell you more

For myself I ordered my ancestry but from how they are working my results won't be available anytime soon lol, but parents both MH. I'm just wondering why they made that distinction in their model between eastern euro(slavic) and baltic.

Distances are a bit high. I would have been more comfortable with something in the 3-4% range, but they are still acceptable for averages, especially if they agree with your paper trail. I blame the Polish average, since it's nationwide, instead of region specific, like we have for Moldova.

My mom and dad's for example have a bit lower distances probably because of us having strong regional averages for Moldova and a couple for Ukraine.
