You do know Canaanite immigrants were in Ancient Egypt in the Middle Kingdom furthermore the Fayum portraits are from the Greco Roman period hardly a useful representation of Ancient Egyptians as the area has been invaded, occupied and settled by foreigners countless of times. Ptolemaic Egypt was already a very multicultural place let alone the Roman period. Many foreigners also assimilated amongst the Native population.
